Mentoring partnerships may play at any regularly scheduled club game for which both parties are eligible. Two Monday and Wednesday afternoon games each month are typically designated as invitational, allowing mentors with more than 1,000 masterpoints (MPs) to play in the afternoon games that typically have a 1,000 masterpoint limit. These games are also open to any other players with fewer than 1,000 masterpoints, whether or not the players are involved in the mentoring program.

The current schedule for the invitational mentoring games is:

  • February: 3, 5, 17, 19
  • March: 2, 4, 16, 18
  • April: 6, 8, 20, 22
  • May: 4, 6, 18, 20
  • June: 1, 3, 15, 17

A calendar is also posted in the club showing these dates.

Please Note: Lannetta Schmidt will be hosting "Meet/Greet" and "Play and Talk" evenings at the club for mentor/mentee pairs only. The dates are:

  • Tuesday, January 21 7:00pm - 9:00pm
  • Tuesday, February 25 7:00pm - 9:00pm

These sessions will be an opportunity for mentor/mentee pairs to play hands and discuss them, using selected "teaching hands" and others from the Common Game that evening.

There is no charge to attend the session; it will not be a game nor will master points be awarded. There will be a sign-up sheet at the club for those pairs who wish to attend.
